The polo's steering is really horrid and not smooth. I went to my local garage they said the wishbone bushes have gone due to having wide wheels and being low. They offered me powerflex bushes at the cost of £150
Are these any good??
cheers

See here... http://www.powerflex.co.uk/products/Pol ... 637/1.html

Parts come to £82....£70 labour to fit them..... assuming it takes an hour or so per side sounds about right....

IMHO, being lowered with wide wheels might contribute to the wear of the bushes, but its not going to make them wear out that quickly... I suspect they are just tired and need replacing....... I would realistically expect the rubber ones to last around 80,000 miles on a standard car.... less on a "racer"....

£150 a fair bit though.

You can get the set off eBay for £60, then fit them yourself.
