Im 28 yrs old, full no claims, no convictions, full comprehensive insurance with nfu is costing me £575 a year with a £500 excess. (i am insured for business use also)

Would like to see what your paying for your gti's really to make a comparison..

Ali,

Sounds like alot to me....

Try Direct Line online quote.... you can still use for business... it is all included iirc...

If you have another car in the family.. why dont you get a Traders policy... you should qualify given your business/occupation...

This could save you some money... If I didnt need to drive modified cars then some policies were starting at just over £500.... So you get 2 or 3 cars insured for the same money as one .. if you get me... and the business pays for it all...

My premium is just over a grand ... but that is for the Polo GTI and A4 cab.... whatever mods I want.... and also to drive any customers cars fully comp, modified or not, upto £35k value.. Wife is also covered to drive any of ours or customers cars... and is also insured to commute to her place of work.

Worth a thought ??

Well there seems to be a mixture of prices being paid... I have tried all the price comparison sites (comparing meerkats lol), i can get it down another 100 quid, but dunno if its worth all the hassle of changing when the insurance office for nfu is about half a mile away from me. (-compare the market came back as the best comparison site)
