I'm thinking of replacing my front lights but would need these to be sold (or a deposit paid) before I buy anything new. They are only 6months old and are mint. No chips/cracks ect. Probably only been on the car for 1-2k miles, if that. I paid £120 for both the headlamps and £30 for the indicators. Not expecting to close to that price but make me an offer. Recent pic below, thanks. Any more req. I can take and add. Thanks

Hi, make me an offer on the lights.
As stated I used a 90 degrees bend and then extra cold air feed pipe and a breather filter.

Id have routed the air feed slightly differently - namely to the passenger wing/fog area than the drivers, as it runs across the radiator and the exhaust manifold, therefore the heat will pass through into the feed and heat it up before it goes into the TB

I did try that once, down to the fog light, but with all the bends and radiator hoses the hose started to warp and holes started to appear. Then I cut a hole in the front and that collected to much water. So this turned out to be the safest route. When moving it stays cool but would heat up when stationary. Wrapped the pipe in loads of silicone and rubber tape though which shold make it last longer and stay a tiny bit cooler. Did try by the battery too but that didn't seem as affective as where it is now.

Mine used to run down to the fog grille itself, and the having the bend at the bottom stopped water getting sucked in - but yes I know the feeling with the rad hoses....i managed to rub through mine and shoot coolant everywhere haha

If it wasnt for the stupid 8v throttle body being further to the right, I would have spun the BMC around.

I know what you mean! 1.0s are unfortunately the same.
