when i first lowered mine on coilovers, i only dropped it about 35mm and it was a little stiffer but not too stiff, but the more ive lowered it the stiffer its got, so id say if you dont want to lower it much then go for coilovers and just dont drop it much.

but then again you could go for springs lol, but i have not experience with using them so wait for someone elses reply whose used them

coil overs are one option however it can be an expensive option and not worth while if you are looking to have a similar ride. I personally would get gti springs and put them on this will lower the car between 15mm and 20 mm and is very cost effective as the ride will be similar to what you have already but with much less body roll, and it is cheaper on the insurance side of things.

why lower the car 20 mm.

i find that waste of money.

buy coilovers .howlower you go how stiffer its gets.

the best way imo, would be a set of high quality coilovers. like a set of weitecs or something. they cost alot but the ride comfort should be stiffer but not horrendous.
