With the polished outers, is that the standard finish you get from a refurb and does it require a bit of looking after i.e. more prone to damage from the weather?

I only got the car in February and have not had the wheels on it as yet (as stated they have previously had summer use only), so I'm afraid can't really answer your questions?

The original BBS RXIIs come with the rim diamond cut and lacquered. The main problem that affects original RXII rims is that water gets underneath the lacquer and corrodes it, causing bubbling and pitting of the surface.

With the polished rims like these, the lacquer is removed and the metal polished up. The result being that with no lacquer you have no problems with it corroding etc. I've run polished rims during the winter, and through keeping them clean and using a good quality metal polish I never had any issues.

It's a shame you're so far away for me and i think getting them couriered would be far too expensive otherwise i might have them.
