best thing wud be to find a good second hand one mate, even better in same colour then it cud be blended in...

someones smashed into it.
on their insurance so recon i might just take it to VW

o dear, make sure if u take it to a body shop they use genuine parts

yeah thats why i might just go to VW. the cost doesn't matter to me so it will get done properly.

and hopefuly a replacement car for a week. like a fox

my uncle came over for weekend and as i was at work he parked on my drive.
so i parked out front, the woman who lives opposite reversed out and hit me.
luckily it was only the door she hit, she kocked at door and was nearly crying.
her husband came round this after with all insurance details as i recon it's gonna be £1k+ bill.

s**t happens. it's officialy up for sale once its fixed. possible whole side resprayed.

Ah well, at least they sound like decent people...unlike uni staff who reverse into your car and then speed off

think the door was ~£250

they'd have to atleast spray the wing and either the rear quarter or at least blend it in, i think my local bodyshop is roughly £400 pound a panel, so id have though 1k yeah

im sorry but they dont need to blend it in. if you are paying top dollar ie insurance ensure they custom match your paint
