Afternoon all,

Recently purchased some 16" BBS RX11's from John (Redline) and now I need to get some new tyres sorted for them.

Obviously I dont want to have any problems with rubbing etc, the car hasnt been lowered yet so its still sitting sky high.
Could someone tell me the best suited tyre size for these wheels. I would like to keep them the same diameter as the wheels currently on the car (15" BBS RX II's). Current Tyre Size 195/45/15

The 16" rims were running on 195/40/16 tyres, are these suitable for the GTI?

195/40/16 is spot on mate you'll have no problems

nah u want 165 40 R16

195/40-16s have a rolling radius difference of just -1.1% compared to the stock 15s, so as noted they're perfect.

I'll look forward to seeing pics when you get them fitted

165/50s mate. Or 165/45 if you want more.
