Most Expensive GTI Part

Just had a quote for a new throttle body................................
Only £813 plus VAT
. They are unique to the Polo as well
Is there a single part on the GTI which is more expensive??

the gear box, think thats around £1300 inc vat from my local VW LOL

Fair shout, but the gearbox is made of separate components. The throttle body is a sealed unit

I have a gti throttle body lieing around if you want it for £70 posted. Was going to use it for a throttle body conversion but couldn't get it to work properly on my 1.4 16v. PM me if you want it.

It's been really jerky on pull away, had it cleaned repeatedly and re-adapted on VAG COM. I'm hoping a replacement throttle body will do the trick.

Its actually more than that with the exchange price added to it
I know the ABS pump for a GTI is around £600
Once, I got quoted for the TCSEDL module on my car out of interest, and that was over £1500 lol!

Thats JUST the pump for £600.... the actual control unit is another £600... thats £1200 for the complete unit FFS!
