MISFIRING!!!!!!!!

Hi

I have a 06 9n3 Polo with a 1200cc 3 cylinder engine and the car has just done 20000 miles.
I started having misfire troubles around 2 months ago, engine management light on the lot, when i looked into it, it seemed that the plugs were nackered, so i bought genuine VW plugs which are platinum and the misfire stopped the light turned it self off but it still didn't feel the same.
So i had a diagnostic check done on the car which showed that cylinder 1 had the misfire on. All problem codes were then wiped clean.
After about a week the engine management light then came back on, the car would then not rev past 4000 RPM. So next step changed all the coil packs.
So with brand new plugs and coil packs the engine management light went off.
Driving home last night and it pops back on again but the car seems to be running fine?

Anyone with the same problem or got any ideas?
Im going to have the diagnostics checked and the codes checked and wiped again.

Thanks Tom

If its an 06 are you still in your 3 year warrenty?

If so get it to VW ASAP rather then paying out for all these parts.
