Angel Tuning do it for around £200 mate and they offer a mobile service.
I havent had mine done yet so can't comment reference the power gains but with the mods you've already got you can expect 140Bhp + when you get it re-mapped so it is worth doing. Has your gearbox been changed on your GTI or are you still on the original???
Tomo said his was running 140Bhp but he got through 3 boxes
Ben,

I have just had mine rolling roaded this week at Weston Performance.
I have a panel filter, cat back exhaust and de-catted.
I am not convinced the reading was 100% correct as everyone who went on the rollers thought there figures were down on what it should have been, not that i was dissapointed with the results mind you.
The only way to find out for sure would be for me to get it done at a different garage.
I got:
130.1 BHP & about 125 lb torque
Heres my results sheet:
Still a bloody good reading for a 10 year old car with hardly any mods

Good Results there Neil,
Very good in fact, I bet you were chuffed with that, I know I would be.
Be interesting to know what you would achieve with an engine re-map. They estimate 8-15 bhp gains on the Polo GTI but I think 15 is not realistic.
Are you on the Original Gearbox neil?
Ben,

i had mine mapped by G-Werks when i got my headwork and cams installed. My complete list of engine mods are de-cat exhaust system, raceland manifold, BMC, Cams,Headwork.
Not been rr'd yet so unsure of power output

Ah writ seems pretty immense for the mods u have done, im running a 4-2-1 raceland and decat bigger bore system and a cold air feed viper but 1der,
Could you tell me the price off ur headwork and cams like what you had done it and estimate output as id like to have this done dude
Just tp tie it all together would be nice i think!

I am on my original clutch and gearbox, and the car has done 97,500 miles
My speedo stopped working on the way there though, and i have already changed the speed sensor on the box but it still dont work. I gotta take the ECU out on Sautrday to check for any signs of water as a VAGCOM scan is pointing towards the ECU.

My old Silver GTI had a BMC, Raceland Manifold, Powerflow exhaust and Custom Code Map and it was on the rollers at 140bhp.

Imo every polo gti should be re-mapped

the difference is big enough and btw why nobody has 4-1 manifold ?

what u mean, why nobody have a 4-1???
I could only find a 4-2-1 manifold when buying mine and was told its better for the flow off the system!

Full cat back exhaust, BMC and a couple of little tweaks here and there - its pretty damn quick!
