Hi, with the barrels its a bit awkward at times, drawing the line between not dropping the screw into the door and unscrewing it enough to remove the barrel.
My Haynes manual said no more than 6 turns, but in reality i could easily do 10 + before the barrel was even loose.
Just try unwinding it slowly and keeping an eye on just how loose it is then prying under the barrel with a small blade ( stanley/thin flathead etc ) very carefully to just pry some movement into it and it will slowly come out.
Hope that helps
Cheers
Sepi

thought as much , stupid haynes manual mine says "no more than 3 turns or ull lose it in the door trim"
Have put a tiny dent into my door thinking it was loose enough to prise out with a screwdriver
wonder if i can get that fixed really annoys me.
Cheers though mate will try again tommorow
