Black Polo GTI 6 Speed. 390 BHP Build

Post by 9N3 Turbo »

:D :D Hi all,

Thought it was about time i put a few pics up and said hello to all you fellow GTI owners.

I have always wanted one since they came out but had other things to deal with first.

Couple of months before Christmas i came across this site.
After 5 hours of looking at pics of what others have done and what they had to say about them i made the phone call.

As i have another project on the go this will be slow moving.

So far i have done the following;

Honey combe bumper grills from the Polo Sporty
HID's, led side lights and led rear number plate lights
FK Konisport coilovers
Audi TT competition alloys, currently running 205-40-17 until Saturday then 195-40-17's
Pipercross panel filter
Removed the rear wiper

Next on the list of things to do is the usual;
Forge FMIC and TIP
Turbo intake hose
007p dump valve
Miltek turbo back
remap.

This is before i lowered it.

Don't want to say just yet until i am sure.

The back is lowered as far as it will go with one of the adjuster rings removed and the front is currently 5 turns from the bottom.

I also thought they were pricey, however the cheap LED's just blow after a short time so thougt i would try these and i love them so bright and easy to fit. Remove orginal fitting and replace with the new even pulgs up with correct connections 8)

Dewipering was very simple. Removed the wiper blabe and the big nut that holds the motor in place then pulled off the cover on the tailgate undone 3 or 4 nuts and jobs a gooden. You will be left with the tube for the rear screen wash i removed this completly so no fluid leaked into the car.
