http://briskoda.net/

that seems to be the best place...

but you need to do the injectors aswell..

But i'm tempted to do it myself... I've just had my car re-mapped, just transformed the car, amazing bit of kit now!! :)

but..

anymore power & it will defs need a clutch.. currently running 140bhp

WELL this is the problem im having at the moment i will be upgrading my clutch when i remap it because jabbasport say its 145bhp? when i asked about the injectors they said they would not need to be changed but i believe they max out at 150 bhp? so the car will have over 180 anyway? but with 180 bhp how quick can i expect the car to be? will i be able to keep up with clio sports, beat st fiestas, polo gtis and so on otherwise i just feel its money well wasted considering the turbo and customer map is going to cost me £1300 :O sachs clutch £500 fitted im 18 years old lol!

I reckon you could get the turbo plus map done for max £700... if you went the right way about it..

I was lead to believe they maxed out at 150bhp... so they must need to be changed spesh if you want 180bhp :s

what clutch are you going for?

I think I've read somewere on here of someone on here who traded his 182 for a GT TDI...

so theres your answer?

where are you thinking of getting your work done by the way?

I'd have the re-map done at RS tuning...

the Turbo I'd get off a scrap car.

Idk about the intercooler + Pipe but at a bet it'd need changing...

all would be easier if you just bought a GT TDI lol

Hi Guys,

I traded my trophy in for a GT, if you get it running at 180bhp the torque output will be massive and you should have no problems keeping up with the clio sports and all the other 2l petrol hatches.

I'll be taking the GT to jabbasport to get it remapped when i've got my suspension sorted.

Im doing the same thing your doing but doing it slowly as im my final year of uni. i researched quiet alot of this before with a pd 130 turbo there is a guy on the seat forum thats called "maxcars1" hes done it to his seat, however you need to change the turbo the intercooler and obviously your clutch, the injectors can handle up to 180bhp as some people have tested both injectors and the power output didnt really change, however obviously pd130 injectors would be better. then youd need to finish it off with a custom map which are about 400 quid themselves i believe.
Your looking at around £1000-1500 ish in moneys, now you can buy a GT pay the extra few hundred on the car and then insurance and the mapping fees etc, and work out at roughly the same or you can spend the extra money on your car and make it just as fast

i currently have the pd130 turbo sitting in my garage, some people are saying it will go straight on with no changes to any pipes, others are saying ill have to change the turbo inlet pipe and intercooler pipe.

so if you do go ahead with it any info on pipes-fitting etc would be appreciated

zedzo its all come to a halt for me at the moment as im a student and i just lost my part time job, i have hit a massive dilemma with my problem being i have fallen in love with the mini cooper, im a bit stupid because iv got my votex kit at home waiting to go to the bodyshop to go on my 9n but i dont know whether to sell it and buy a cooper with the aero kit, im just finding the vw build quality poor! what makes it worse my mate just got his mini with the aero kit and it looks gorgeous and im really starting to miss petrol :( but on the other hand im guessing my tdi with 180 bhp would beat quite a few hot hatches!?
such confusion going through my mind at the moment!
any help let me know lol!
