Haven't been on here in a long time
Uni is going to be over soon and I'll be back to driving my GT(130) again. Dad's had me insured on mum's Golf GT(170) and when I got back into my car for the first time in a while it felt sluggish. I've already got a cotton green air filter and a PD160 intake, both of which need to go on. But I really want to get a map. I was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction of a decent place; Overall I'm hoping to achive around 170 horses.

Thanks in advance

Superchips maybe a bit more expensive than other tuners but they do offer a warranty

I don't think AMD are much cheaper...Plenty of other places to go such as Revo, Jabbasport, P-Torque all will give you 170bhp. Beware of increasing the torque too much otherwise you'll need to upgrade the clutch too

Im going for a remap this year also on my GT and despite the price ill probably still go with Superchips

I had a custom map done by RS tuning in leeds, couldn't recommend it more, Mine went from a PD100 to 140bhp.

Transformed the car.

my mum also has one of those GT TDI 170's.. it's so quick lol

just out of interest and off topic.. is the clutch on the golf like awful? you dont really get any feel? feels like a electric gizmo is going the work rather than anything mechanical if that makes seance?

Thnaks guys, I'll check these places out. I just want to hit a solid 170. Then I'll concentrate on the handling.
