alright,
after reading how to shorten the aerial guide, i was wondering if all polos have the same aerial? ive got a mk4 just now.

what is this bit? is this the bit cut off?


and do u dip the whole thing into the boiling water?

if i remember right from reading the guide the bit that is circled is the bit that has been cut off.

you only dip the end in boiling water, this is to loosen the plastic top so that it can be removed from the bit that has been cut off. It is then stuck back on to the new end of the aerial.

Im not sure if it is the same on a mk4 but i guess you could probably do something similar to it.
