Indicator Intermittent

Hi, I have had a problem recently where the indicator will sometimes work and sometimes not. I fitted a new bulb and ensured that I fitted it in correctly, and the bulb worked for a couple of days. But then the intermittent working and not working began. Can anyone help with this please? Many thanks
