Hey guys I'm upgrading my front wipers soon so i thought i might aswell upgrade the rear one to an aero one, i wanna upgrade it to like the new vw's,

seen somethin about a 9n or a passat rear wiper?

anyone kind enough to point me in the right direction?

The rear wiper from the New Scirroco fits it perfectly...

I have put it on mine.

Hey dude,to upgrade to the newer type Aero wiper these are the parts & part numbers you will need.

The wiper arm: 6q6 955 707 c
The small button type cap for the arm: 6q6 955 435 b
The wiper blade: 3c9 955 425

Does the Scirocco wiper blade fit without needing to be adjusted (alexperkins knows what I mean) or is it a direct "bolt-on" job? I need a new rear blade (I have had this upgrade installed since 2008) and if I can get one that doesn't need messing with, then all the better

It should just be a new blade - they all appear to use the same arm...let me look on etka for the part number

Yeh the part numbrs were the same alex,i copy the part numbers down of things i think i may need or pop up often.Not trying to take your credit or anything

Anywho, just to confirm, are those part numbers for the Scirocco rear wiper???

Those parts are for the passat rear wiper. The arm and cap are the same, Ill post the part number up for the blade tomorrow when im at my workshop

Martin - is the scirrocco wiper as big as the original polo one. ETKA says its 255mm whereas the Polo one is 280mm

The "wiping area" is 7-8 mm shorter on either side... But you really don't notice it...

I went down to my local VW dealer with a measuring tape and went around the lot to physicaly see if any of them aould fit my Polo.

I think ill stick to the passat estate wiper and just move the clip lol!
