mite sound like this has been answered a million times before but i have a 9n tdi pd100, re-maped pd160 intake, pipercross filter, coilovers, cupra/powerflex bushes, fr/vrs hubs anniversory 312mm front brakes. but its no longer quick enough need more power. i just want to know off someone that has done it what exactly i need to get i.e pipe work. gunna go whole hog and get the 130 injectors aswell i think. reason i am asking is don't want to start fitting and then find out i have somthing missing. i know i need the GT1749VA turbo and the presure sensor and then some pipework. thinking about keeping the side mount for now. so if anyone has done this sure there has been a phew done it now any help would be good also if poss part number aswell haha if thats not to much to ask.

slim come see me
ive jus done it on mine, ive slapped in the 130 turbo and intercooler, all you need is the pipes from the 130 the turbo and the 130 intercooler, only because the connections on the 100 intercooler are diff, performance wise not much diff.
av a look at this link i put a diagram der, you mite aswel go for the PD150 turbo from the mark 4 golf, its a 1749 aswel but one is VA and one is VB not sure which ones which but one is 130 and other is 150.
im not sure you know me, i drive the black 9n3 with the daylines, gti rimz, private reg. but you know my brother used to have a black 9n3 with the black rims and red lip.
Gaz lot have had a look at my car (Daz's Auto) so they should be able to do it all for you or give you advice. then you ll need a custom map to get it all working with the new turbo. otherwise you dont get much of an increase. i havent mapped mine yet so it should be roughly the same as yours.

one thing i would be slightly concerned as im either going to do this or buy an ibiza cupra is the bottom end is weaker than the 130 and jabbasport told me?
also zedzo is this reliable as your the only guy whos had the bottle to do this

dan the bottom end is slightly weaker but thats only a concern if ur goin daft bhp, i know people with fabias n ibizas tht have the same setup as me with no problems aslong as you dont go apast the 200bhp mark you shudnt run into any problems.
car drives a lot smoother n even gently pressing the accellerator gets you goin pretty fast, you dont have to rev the sheeet out of it in other words. nice smooth power all the way to red line.

a remap will sort you out for quite sumtime. it kept me happy for ages

people used to think i chippd it up to 200bhp LOL jus cos of the sound and power that there is.
if you can an ibiza cupra would be really nice 160 standard i believe or you can go for the Fr which is suppose to be 130 standard but have been dynod at almost 150 (148), if you remap that your looking at high 170s almost 180. which is s**t fast as my mate has one

bhp wise weve not really had a run in them yet as his driving a 59plate S3 (265bhp) at the moment, was havin fun with him in that the other day rolling start in 3rd was level for quite a bit and then he slowly pulled away but not by much. but thats only rolling starts, if we had a go off the line he wud of been long gone.
hes ibiza tho does have more torq thats blatently obvious, i think after ive custom mapped it should be a pretty gud race. ill wait for slimbo to map his first heheheheh. ive had fun with 2.0T Audi A4s in the past rolling start theres not much diff. n there 220bhp. only bad thing about the diesels is there s**t in early gears, because they dont last very long. but with the torq and the power to weight ratio your keeping up with alot of cars.

drag race is all about power not torque, figure out what a 197 weighs and go from there. In normal A to B driving the diesel torque would be fantastic and great for 3rd gear surprises from 30mph, but in the twisties the 197 would have a Polo. It's not one of the best driver's cars for no reason!
