Anyone else have issues with the range of their remote key fob?
I can lock the car from about 5 meters away, but have to be inches away from th drivers door for it to unlock..
Its a pain... its not always been like this...

Found it in the WIKI...

Is it possible to find the SKC code from vag-com? to match new keys to engine imobiliser?

you dont need to match them to the immobiliser. you just need to pair the alarm fobs...the SKC code is no longer available. it was supplied on certain key tag batches with the original keys, but not many had it, and VW will no longer provide it.

One transfers the chip from the old key, then to pair the key up
