For those of you who have a Cubby Box, how do you rate them? Do they really rattle after a few weeks on the road?

Also, what is the difference between the Aerowiper and the standard wiper on my 2003 9N?

OK, just realised theres no difference between my standard wiper and the aerowiper.
Anyway, the reason I asked was because the cap off my rear wiper snapped off at the car wash, now, since then, the rear watwr spray won't work. This might be due to dirt gathered in the water outlet but if I am to repair this, will I just need to buy a new cap or will I have to buy the complete system.

I've had the dash cubby box for maybe 6 months now and it hasn't rattled once. I know one or two people have had issues where it doesn't fit flush with the dash, or it's slighty different colouring to the rest of the dash. But generally they appear to be a great mod :D

Oh and they do open up on their own if you hit a speed bump too hard. 'bump detector'

As for the wiper, try taking it back to your dealer and say it fell off. They might replace it on warrenty.

Mine used to rattle when it was open. This has stopped though since my car went in last but I think they must have broke it and replaced it cos i remember they said something about waiting for a cubby box to come in.

Its a top interior mod - makes it look the d's b's comapred to the crappy pointless tray.

Had mine for almost a year now and hasn't rattled.

As someone else has said - it has a tendancy to popup over big bumps, but thats no problem.

A great mod.

Go to Vagparts.com or ask Martyn on the forum for a quote http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... c5505b3d30 and its for the 9n (MK6) 2002 onwards I think.

I've never had problems with rattles on my cubby box, its also never popped up of its own accord (ooh err! )

Only problem I had was when I fitted the first one (I was the first person AFAIK to retrofit one in the UK) to my first 9n the rear of it sat too high and the front too low. I ordered a new one for my FSi and its now fine, perhaps it was a one off :?
