Alright mate, hows it going? I'm pretty new too, got a TDI myself great little engine. don't worry loads of people don't know how to start with. Have you got a photobucket account, thats how most people do it. Basically if you've got the photos on a webpage somewhere you take the URL, that is http://mypolo.co.uk for example and put that in between the two words that appear when you press the Img button above the comment box as you write a reply, if you leave your mouse over the Img button it tells you. To make sure your not going to post something that just says image, press the preview button, if the photo loads you've nailed it

Hope that helps mate and you get some pictures up soon

Chris

Alright mate, glad you got the pics working. It just wants lowering now, maybe GTI spoiler and spliter.

What model is it, I thought all polos had cloth in the middle section of the door.

Oh by the way the grab handles look good, I should do that with mine at some point, they're all peeled and crap

Thanks guys. Yea im lookin into gettin a set of coilovers once i get the money up. GTI Spliier is def on the to do list, but they're pretty hard to come by. I mite bite the bullet and give VW a ring to price a new one. Nt sure about the fitting though, does anyone know if you have to take the bumper off or whats the best way to change the splitters?

Mine is pushing between 105 and 110.

Get EBC GREENSTUFF brakes. Ive had mine on for a year and a half with some ATE performance brake discs. I jus bought a new set of EBC pads today from eurocarparts for 35 quid.. Getting them changed tommorrow.

110 bhp raz? Thats awesome! If you dont mind me askin how much did the map cost you? do the greenstuff pads and ate disks make much of a difference? Brakes are one thing i wont cut corners on. Especially as mine doesnt have ABS.

Yea red i put the fog surrounds on today, just need to get the middle grill and that'll be the front all honeycombs!

do they not ?... how about converting the rear drums to discs ?

Most of them did have the abs. I always knew mine never had it but i just assumed that the TDI's didnt have it or whatever, but the other day i was looking at them on autotrader to see how mine is holding its value and noticed that they all had ABS. I started to panic in case the car was dodgy, a write off that was fixed up cheap and sold or something. So i phoned VW and gave them my chasis number they told me that my car is an import from the Republic of Ireland and doesnt have abs. Pretty weird but not a big problem. How much work is involved in converting the drums to disks? Do you know if anyone has done it?

Remap was 290 from Angel Tuning. THey come to you.

EBC definetely is the brakes to get, ATE discs are ok, if u wanna spend more, then go over to venom motorsport website and get some Drilled and Grooved ones.. They will keep the brakes cool.. I bought some off ebay once and they didnt fit so get them from eiter europerformance or venom motorsport

Hope that helps, Anything else, giv us a shout!
