Leaking Oil - Part Number pa66-gf35

Hiya All. Last week I bought a 9n 53 Reg, yesterday I decided to carry out a Service and in doing so found a leak in and around a one specific part.

The part sits on the RHS of the engine, immediately next to the cam belt, on the lover part of the engine. (See Picture)

Has anyone come across this, does it leak and what is the remedy in stopping it leak!!

Any Thought / Comments / Suggestions would be very welcome¬

045 907 660 D is the part number. Not PA66 - thats a material code for what its made of lol

Maybe give us your engine size fuel model type.

The car is a VW Polo, 1.4, TDI, 53 Reg

In doing a quick search on the internet the part i was enquiring about is an "Engine oil level sensor" thanks to "alexperkins"

Non the less in finding what the part is, does anyone know what the reason is it leaking oil, and do i need to replace it?
