creaking noise from boot

My 07 Polo (which I only bought about 3 weeks ago!) has started to make a creaking noise. I have sat in the back and it seems to be coming from behind the side panel of the boot (driver's side). It's noticeable when going over bumps. Any ideas what it might be? I'm ringing VW tomorrow as the car is still under warranty but just wondered if anyone had a similar problem or know what it might be?

common problem mate
chassis creak!
its even worse when you say go up/down kerbs are low speed
will sound like the car is falling apart lol

My old polo used to do that. happened after i disturbed the plastic to see if there was a wiring harness for rear speakers. Maybe the pervious owner has tryed to, or fitted rear speekers. just a thought...

mine still does it and its currently stripped out lol
