Just curious as mines on 111k and still the original box.. New selector seals mind... But it's faultless no noise, or crunches at all..

Who has the highest mileage original box...?

It's just bizzare as I've heard of some going at 50k!

If you do a search, there is plenty of info on this subject. Mine has done 111000 miles and is still on the original 'box. I changed the gearbox oil at about 78000 miles if I remember correctly. Might do it again with the annual service at the beginning of June...

73k and still seems fine, would love to see 100k

Mines on 65,500 and still on the original but I dont expect it to last for another 30K.

Some people's boxes have been known to go at 20-30K and dodgy recon's can last as little as 5K.

All depends on how you drive it really, look after it and it will look after your wallet.

I like this thread, gives me more confidence in my gearbox after hearing about all the failures on here.

Mine is just coming up to 101k, still on the original box and after reading all the problems, I thought I was on borrowed time! Good to hear they can go longer.

Thats down to the nature of the forum - you get a large number of users who will post when their gearboxes fail, but no-one says 'out if they aren't having any difficulties!

This forum has a great feel to it and helpful nature as apposed to the other (we all know) that seems to be filled with junk.

113.000 and still going strong

Had the oil changed when I changed the clutch...

104,000 still strong as loads left in her!!!
