Jeff's longly awaited update

so here it is, finally the longly awaited and promised update thread, been aaaaaages since i posted up and in fairness, not all that much has changed really, firstly are the wheels, all polished up and are now on the car coupled with more lows and only minimal brake clearence, 312mm's up front, 256 mm vented conversion at the rear and then the new larger than life JR filter from badger 5, rated to 320 bhp, so enough for now
so the boost whore has has some more love shown, in the way of a detail and car is now runnning with new shortened mondeo droplinks as the old mondeo ones had become worn
had a vacuum leak which was causing surging, which is now sorted too
then on to the 11 hour detail yesterday
jetwashed fully
snowfoamed with valetpro ph neutral snow foam
rinsed off using 30ppm water filter
wash with megs hyperwash
rinsed off using 30ppm water filter
clayed with sonus green extra fine clay
hosed down using 0ppm water filter then dried using sonus ultra drying towel with a light coating of meguiars last touch detailer
machined using the megs da g220 with a meguiars black soft buff finishing pad and dodo juice lime prime
followed by a coating of chemical guys xxx hardcore paste wax on meguiars foam pads
spritz'd over with meguiars last touch and buffed by hand
wheels off, arches cleaned and in and out of wheels all cleaned and waxed with rimwax
tyres dressed with zymol vinyl
engine bay cleaned treated and hoovered
inside recieved a full hoovering, which included the interior being removed and refitted
megs interior quick detailer on the door rubbers and rubber vw original mats
leather recieved gliptone leather cleaner then zymol leather treatment
im still not perfectly satisfied yet, theres a bit more to do on the paint but its a near perfect example again, just a few marks ill sort being seriously ocd with the car, will be following over the full car next week with menzerna power finish on the same pad, anyway heres a couple of quick phone pics

as it stands now is pretty much as it will be staying, as i have just bought myself a house, a 3 bedroom semi with big front and rear gardens and a detatched brick garage, so mods will be few and far between for a bit yet
