My old wheels going up for sale,

Been off the car nearly 6 months know and coming in my way. Want rid of them. All wheels in pretty good condition (considering they are nearly 3 years old know). 8J X 15", ET25, 4x 100. Do have scuffs on the edges and 2 wheels have slight laquer peel/mark but nothing major and something that could easily be sorted by having the laquer stripped. I reckon a sub £100 refurb and youve got yourself a set of new modernlines. Not bad considering a new set with YOKO tyres comes in at £750+

http://www.rimstyle.com/products/detail ... 0252513180

They are a perfect comprimise of dish and offset as any wider and you'd rub, any slimmer and you loose the girth. Currently fitted with 2 x yoko A539 (good nick), 1 x yoko s-drive (very good nick), 1 x champiro (very good nick). That champiro tyre is basically kwik-fits "premium" tyre (i had a flat tyre once and kwik fit was the only option nearby so had no choice but to take it). Will try get recent pics of wheels/tyres (theyr currently locked up in mates garage) ... but for know pics of how they sat on my whip >>>

right lads (and lasses)

These are freshly taken pics of how wheels are... a note to make, most of the rough look around the edge of the rim is actually laquer peel and not kerbage. Only one wheel has kurbage on the very edge of the rim. No buckles and no chunks missing. Ive looked after the wheels like they were my family

hi mate. Theyre prov sold pending payment.

Rubbing depends how low u go. I estimate im down about 70front and 55rear approximately. I have had my rear arches rolled so to give a bit of clearance. Apart from that nothing else. No major archwork required and no need to flare arches either. The offset on this wheel is basically a perfect fit for 8j wheels on a polo. I can carry 3 ppl in the back and only scrub when going on bumpy roads.

A lot depends on stifness of suspension as well. My front are rock hard so i can drop the front like its hot. The rear suspension is softer so more bouncy, hence more chance of scrubbage esp when carrying a few ppl in the back.
