Here for sale is a Brand New Raceland Manifold (4-2-1) Suitable for the MK5 Polo GTI as well as the 1.4 16V models.

The Manifold has been fully prepared with heatwrap, stainless steel cable ties and heat protection spray.
It has had the holes (not ports) bored by 1/2mm and had the neccesary parts removed for fitment on a MK5 Polo.
A lot of labour has gone into getting it prepared and the holes were bored by a local engineering company so it was a very much precision job. The Heatwrap & Spray used was of the highest quality (purchased from Kam Racing)

This has never been fitted and is now full prepared for fitment on somebody's GTI or 16V MK5 Polo (6N2).

Comes with brand new GTI manifold Gasket (fitted) and all fitment parts as seen in pics.
Price - £170.00 O.N.O

Excuse my ignorance, but what does the seperate bit of pipe do?

That Part goes straight into the Cat Alex although in a lot of cases its not always needed because people tend to go for a full de-cat exhaust system. Its just if you do go for a de-cat you need a custom down pipe to fit to the raceland.

I see. And its got the lambda hole on it? Can you guarantee it would be a straight swap with no clearance issues? Did you trial dit it to yours at all?

Sorry for the all the questions, but i just want to be sure

It goes on..........................But it sits against your sump, and with heat wrapping it'l close the gap some more,

Goes on fine, mines been fitted over a year with no probs.

That extra pipe does nothing ya need it welded to the cat or remove cat.............. bit of a headache but worth it, Not up your oem street alex isit surly????? lol! :P

I never got as far as the fitting side unfortunately so I cant really help with fitting questions.
Craig is the lad to ask because he's been there and done it.

The manifold being close to the sump wont be a problem, the heat wrap will actually be of benefit.

I was going to go for a full de-cat system with a custom down pipe but if you keep the Cat for MOT purposes it will be a more complicated fit.

Ben,

Welding it on is the best way alex, or ya can go down the crappy road of using an oversized clamp over the two pieces, either way the oem manifold slides into the cat so theres nothing to bolt the pipe wich comes with the Raceland manifold onto.......... You can add on the correct size pipe onto the cat and THEN bolt to the cat but i would take to a garage to do tbh, unless you have acess to a welder and pipe and pipe bending facilitys, its easy if you have those but you being all oem and keeping the cat will not benifit you in my opinion id just loose the cat and happy days, not loud at all, goes like the clappers, job done!

Go to a garage dude its an arse on the driveway.............
