I've got my mk3 polo GT and it came with a momo 280mm steering wheel which i love the feel of.
I really want one in my GTI but dont want to pay for a new boss and maybe wheel so i was wondering will the wheel and boss fit from the GT into the GTI ill try dig up a pic of the wheel in question if that helps. Or will i need to stop being a tight arse and buy a new one?

You will need a new boss as the spline is a different size.

thank you matey had a quick look and some where in the region of 40-50£ is a good price?

thats about normal.
One thing to bear in mind is you will lose the airbag, which imo is a big safety feature lost

i drove my GT around enough without one so hopefully will be ok. Could see the GTI steering wheel in the GT if i cant find something to put in the GT which i can get me hands on for free or under a fiver lol

As said, it wont fit as it has a different spline
Theres only a few steering wheels that OEM fit a mk3 polo

i know if im going to get one boss i may aswell get two lol waste all me pay in 1 weekend
