Airbag light is on

My airbag light is on. It is annoying me, I hate orange!!!
How do I turn it off! My girlfriend thinks I'm trying to kill her.

You need vagcom or a garage to do it. If you do it yourself you need to be veery careful as its easy to damage the airbag controller

When I purn the key I am getting smoke out of the back of the steering wheel. Could this be the reason the light is on?
Smells like buring wires!!!!

Dont sound good mate although i have had smoke come from around that area in the past and nothing ever came of it

To fix that you would need to have the wheel off and spray all the contacts of the stalks with a contact cleaner spray

I sprayed it with lucozade by accident this morning!
Cool. I might let it burn to the ground!!! I have spent too much now. Need 2 rear shocks now!!!
