Whooping Clutch

Hi, I have changed my petrol Polo to a 1.4 TDI Polo 9n and had it mapped up to 103 BHP.

The problem I have is with the clutch. When I pull off in first gear it seems to whoop for a second. Does anyone know why the clutch would sound like this? It sounded like this before the remap so its nothing to do with that.

Many thanks

Have you checked the fluid levels?

Yeah the brake fluid level is fine. Would the clutch use the brake fluid or is there a hidden away clutch fluid res?

May be a squeeky linkage? Spray it up with a light duty grease see if that helps under the gator and on top of gear box

Definitely the clutch? Would a belt slipping sound the same (you haven't described it much)?

Nah all the belts are fine but the whoping nosie is still there. Mainly when you pull off into a hill start. I will try and grease it up under the bonnet and see what happens. Thanks
