Sold my Polo today :(

I sold my Polo GTi today.... they are coming back to collect it within the hour.
Bit of a sad time, will be sorry to see it go but I did fancy a change. I bought a Stilo 2.4 Abarth last saturday, but I am not entirely sure that I particularly like it. I dont think that it will be staying for long.... especially and the miles per gallon is doesn't do!!
I can see that I am really going to regret selling the Polo, but I have saved myself a bit of money with the changeover which is always good
So goodbye to this:
and a reluctant hello to this haha

I can see why your regretting selling the GTI and replacing it with a Stilo.
No offence intended but they are pretty nasty to look at, looking at the two pics next to each other they are a gulf apart in terms of looks and quality.

Haha that was amazing! Yes, I believe that you have hit the nail on the head with that one.
I really, really do regret selling the Polo! But I really felt like a change. The Stilo definatly won't be staying for long. I think all of the gadgets suckered me in.
Thinking I might go and buy an Alfa again like I had a few months ago or even just another Polo - but not a silver one lol.

Not the move i would have made if im honest.
All the gadgets may have drawn you in so much that you forgot it's a Fiat and they'll only work for 6 months.Still we all need change at some point and learn from our mistakes, plenty of nice cars out there dude just get rid of the Fiat and save yourself even more money

I'm sure that all of you guys will be happy about this.... the Stilo is up for Sale

I don't like driving it at all.... its like a boat and all the body roll is horrendous. And the major factor is its use of fuel!!! £60 gets around 312 miles! And that's with me trying to drive it economically. When pushing it the other day it was doing 17.5mpg! That's not something I can live with, even if the flappy paddle gearbox is fun.
I want my Polo back

Right so the Stilo went a few days ago

and I made £400 profit in a week on it so it wasn't all bad. Wish I had put it up for more now! lol
I'm currently driving my dad's own company Citreon C5 haha. I am on the look out for another car now. Maybe a nice Polo again, but there may be a chance of a Seat Ibiza Cupra at my local auctions tomorrow as I don't think it reached its reserve yesterday. Anyone know anything about these?
It's a 2001 X with 62,000 miles on the clock with two previous owners, one being a company. It has a few scrapes and scratches around it which I am guessing is the reason it's at the auction. I'd have these sorted out should I get it. What do people think of these? Are they any fun, reliability issues?
Any help would be appreciated.

The MK3 Ibiza's (00-02) are very similar to the 6N2 Polo's, they share the same chassis and suspension set up so are very similar.
If you ask me they are probably the best looking Ibiza that Seat have produced and come loaded with extras, especially the Cupra's.
180bhp as standard from the 1.8T 20V lump (most of them have been modified) and fairly nice interior. I think most of them had recaro seats (if memory serves) and most have xenon headlights etc.
The attention to detail is not as good as on the Polo GTI's because at the end of the day Seat's are the cheaper alternatives to VW's & Audi's.
Still very nice cars though and have great tuning potential
