It isn’t exactly a difficult job it’s just very time consuming and stressful.
You will need to split the rims using a VM8 torx bit and strip down the lacquer from the rims.
Best stuff to use is Nitromors paint stripper, use that on all the outer rims and then begin to scrape away all the old paint and lacquer.
Alternatively you can get them sandblasted which is much easier.
Once you get it all off it’s then a case of sanding down the outer rims with several different grades of wet & dry, this takes literally hours.
They should begin to look healthy at this point, that just leaves polishing them up with Autosol metal polish.
There's a guide in the DIY Section check it out if you’re looking to do it

sounds like a plan.
I LOVE nitromors. Got it on my face once.......burnt all my skin off. it was cool.
The paint has just started to flake now. So I want it done asap

Yeah Nitromors is pretty lethal stuff so best to be careful when using it, I recommend wearing protective eye wear and strong gloves to protect yourself & just apply the stuff lightly.
Is it just the outer lips that need doing or are the centre's looking worse for wear too?
I dont remember seeing any pics of your car dude so get some posted
