an interior light bulb thats not a standard one... looked everywhere and tried a few from ebay but none work and its a fuss to keep sending them back... i just want a bright LED one thats either white or blue... if anyone knows would be much help

hiya mate, i got a blue interior light in mine which i got off ebay.

just had a quick look on there and theres a few about, they got 8 leds in. it looks like the original with 2 points on each end and u want one at 42mm, only a few quid, get it bought

i forgot to add. put in "blue interior bulb" on ebay and it will come up

any chance you can link me to one?

www.ultraleds.co.uk they do a huge amount of LED bulbs for cars. Have a look on there

got one, fitted it.. it was blue and im not too keen on it... i didnt realise how much i actually used my interior light.. its either that or its sods law and ive needed it more recently

but anyhow im going to get a white one ad i think this one will be much more useful

what interior light do you have... my friend who has a 52 plate polo has a completely different one to me and it literally took 30minutes to figure out how to get it out because VW didn't but it in the book and it wasn't even in a Haynes manual

but in anycase for my car this is the one i will be buying

As alex said ultraleds I have had mine in for for 18 months and not a problem. Not like the crap you get off ebay

Safe to say I now have one. Didnt want to just change a bulb for the sake of it. But I now have one and it's from eBay but it's brilliant. It was an 8 smd one and is super bright and was a lot cheaper than ultraleds

Long as it wasnt the cheap chinese ones. Those have a habit of the LED's flickering and randomly stopping.
My mate got 20 sidelight bulbs for £2 off of eBay, suffice to say he has to change them pretty often, but he's got plenty. They arent all the same brightness though

no, no cheap Chinese stuff lol
but it works great and is so much easier to find things now
