It depends on a number of factors, if for example you have a mint low mileage GTI with all the mods cons with OEM Leather then you could still realistically ask £4000+.
Condition, Mileage, Service History and Accessories dictate the price more than anything else. A Poor conditioned High Mileage example will probably fetch less than £2K.
If yours is Clean and has 71K on the clock then it should be worth £3K really

thats what I thought. Some people are asking 3.5k for a standard gti with crossion on the wheels.
I don't want to be greedy, just realistic.

It is a tough car to buy or sell i think.Such a large variety of prices/conditions.Remeber you can always drop the price if it dosent sell but you cant raise it so always ask for alittle more than you expect.
I wonder how much mine is worth?.................

Pains me to see GTI's go for such low prices, granted there are some abused ones out there but even the 'decent' ones which have been looked after dont really go for much for what they are.

My GTi is in good condition for a 10 year old car, has average miles at 108,000, service history, refurbished alloys and i've currently got it up for £1800. I think this is a good price, think some of the ones at £3.5k are far too much (obviously if it's mint, low miles etc then may be justified).
