Hey!
Was having a quick look through the 'Why arnt Polo GTi's selling thread' and saw the post about the rally car. I didnt know any polos did any rallys, so googled/youtube it and found this video;

Nice little video that,if i had a s**t one id be quite up for making a track beast.
Wonder what its had done to it.At 1.43 it definately sounds like there a supercharger.

They are 200(ish)bhp polo's with a 6 speed sequential gearbox.. Original 1.6 GTi block and head with uprated everything else pretty much... Weigh about 950kg so about 100kg less than standard...

Sounds fun to me
Maybe its a straight cut gear box we can hear then and not a supercharger?
