The wheels you have look fine.
I would spend some money on go faster bits. Well I would say that, but I'm sure quite a few people would agree.
What suspension and brakes are you running ?

Ice, if the current stereo is the standard OEM bobbins job.
Don't have to go too mad - anybrand head unit with built in 4x50w output and whatever choice of tape/CD/changer/mp3/line-in you like, some (JBL?

) 8cm full range speakers up front and whatever 6x9s you like the cut of with a "cheap" (but active) 10" woofer in the back probably do fine for the price of basic new wheels or not-that-exclusive plate. Your current wheels look ok (of course, that doesn't mean YOU aren't sick of them

) and plates.... beh. My own view on them is it's like naming your house...
Otherwise.................. i dunno..... nitrous?

I voted for wheels, but I'm not an ICE man and private plates seem like a bit of a waste of money to me. I agree with Dan, spend the money on better brakes, or suspension.

Just lowered the car -40mm on Gmax springs&shocks (not in the pic) but with standars brakes
