my rear screenwash doesnt work, i took the trim out the back and found the pipe disconnected so connected it thinking that was easy and no luck still buggered, so while parked up i tried it again got out looked under the car to find its coming out below the bottle, anyone know how to access it and fix it permanently, i have heard ibizas have the same issues!

and anyone got any good tips in getting the the pipes flushed through think mine have iced up, would heating the kettle up and pouring it in with a load of screenwash help?

my GT is running 175bhp with 280 torques, its only had a remap and has had a sachs upgraded clutch fitted, few questions here how many miles or lenght of time should the sachs clutch last i heard there good for 400lb/ft of torque? also what would be my next mod im trying to source a pd160 intake but cant find any on ebay and ive tried seatcupra.net, but for bigger power what would be the next best thing? intercooler exhaust?

also i have a buzzing from the left doorcard im guessing its the mount for the speaker but i could be wrong does the doorcard come off easy?
Jonny

you'll probably have to take the airbox out and reach under to find the pipes that have pulled apart. A zip tie over the connection should help it after it's back together. Other than that, keep it full of a good mix if screenwash so it doesn't freeze in the future.

Clutch is sach with single mass flywheel
exhaust is miltec turbo back with decat. And custom tip (hidden like standard)
fmic is the forge Ibiza one
turbo is from
turbo dynamics stage two pd 150hybrid
mapped at r tech. Rollers are spot on there other places like Amd make the rollers read more for pub talk but would always point someone r tech way as nick is a quality bloke

My 9N has no rear washer. I had a mechanic look at it and he said the pipe was broken unber the plastic undertray which runs under the car and he said he could tell because when the rear waher was used the water would drip out from this undertray. If your washers are frozen dont keep on trying to use them as you will blow the fuse for the pump and will end up with no washers at all. Wait for them to defrost and in future put in a more concentrated antifreeze. My antifreeze was ready mixed stuff and when a read the bottle it said works doewn to -2C no wonder it had been freezing with the weather we have been having.

well the car had its MOT yesterday and passed after getting a few bits sorted, but car needed two front tyres due to the insides wearing down to the canvas, i was completly unaware of this, could this be an allignment/tracking issue??
also the guy said he wasnt happy with my front suspension (decked on coilovers) he said there was very little if no movement at all for them to go up and down  should i worry about this or just leave it be, the previous owner as far as im aware had this setup for three years so i cant see any reason for it not to last another 3 years??

Some get arse if they can't get it on to ther brake test equipment. Coilovers have shorter shocks as standard only worry if u go round corners fast and the car skips over where it's catching air. Min is lowered 120mm n my mot man can't get my car on his brake tester but he just road tests it for those bits. He is a mates mate n loves vw on the floor lol says that's how they should all be

lol ace and yeah i agree any vw decked look ace. did u ever have any problems with the insides of ur tyres wearing on the inside after u fitted ur coilies? the tyres i had were 40 quid a pop so cheap s**t so wouldnt surprise me if it was just them destroying themselves. guy fitted falkens on the front not sure if theyre any good but i plan on fitting a lovely set of michelins when i get some spare cash to play with.

also i managed to get hold of a cupra air box with its intake, is the box any different from the pd130 or just the same? and will i need any other parts to fit this? im not sure if the connection behind the grill is the same on both engines?

Apart from blowing the fuse for the motor, another danger of trying to run the washwipe when frozen up is that you will just "explode" the pipe off the connector nose, meaning fluid will be sent, and then just collect either in the collector tray or worse, depending where pipe comes detached, in the front passenger footwell as happened on out 9n3 a while back!
