Overfueling....

My car has been really drinking petrol for the past month..
220 miles to a full tank using V-Power, that works out about 25mpg... Now that's with an unreal amount of driving like a grandma. I've previously seen high 30's with driving like that before so I know something is wrong.
I've just had the coolant sensor changed for a genuine VW one. VAGCOM isn't showing any errors.
I need help! Is there anyway I can check the MAP sensor and/or lambda to see if they are working to their optimum?
Or are there any other things I should be testing/looking out for?

I just hit my most miles on a tank. 335!!! That was sitting at 70 on the motorway for 200 miles.
This drinks like my old coupe turbo. that was a 2.0 215bhp. These cars are mad!
How much oil do you lot use? I'm doing a litre every 1000 miles (2 weeks)

Guys, lets not turn this into my car gets this MPG please
My issue is that my fuel consumption has become noticeably worse and I want to fix it...
But it doesn't really drink oil, I have noticed that loads comes out of the breather at the back of the engine, it's probably blocked and I can't be arsed to remove it to clean it.

Nope?? I never got it.
Cleaning the breather will be a nightmare.. Getting to it will involve removing the inlet manni etc, will it not?
