Right the "G" on my "GTI" badge has nearly fell off and seems to be hanging on by a thread.

Does anybody know where I can get the sticky foam stuff from to re-attach it properly?
It only looks around 1 myabe 2mm thick and is black/grey. VW seem to use it on all of their badges but not sure where I can buy it from seperately.

Anybody know where I can get some from / know of any decent alternatives?

The thickness is the most important because I dont want it to be sticking out further than the "T "& "I"

I looked on eBay briefly but I would prefer to get something that I know will do the job.

Halfords sell it. Its made by a company called Harris and is called Trim/Number Plate tape. Has green and orange packaging

Used it on various badges. If it sticks out more (which it shouldnt), peel the other letters off and put them back on with the tape to make it match

Been using the last of my allocated holiday this past week

I bought some Sticky 1mm thick number plate strips off ebay,i use that for badges etc.Cheap as chips too.

The thinner the better really because the foam used on the badges is only around 1-2mm
