Got a call from the VW Dealer toda and told my GTI is here and will be ready for collection on Monday

Any way i popped down to have a look at it heres a few pics.

very nice when did you originally order it? i've been told ive got a build date of week 6 and to expect delivery around end of march for my 1.2 tsi

I ordered it on the 30th of june. so it has been a very long wait.

How much did you pay out of interest?

I Paid about £19,600, but that includes 2K of extras

Looks fantastic in White! Sounds like you got a good price and from the look of it you got Winter Pack, climate, RCD510 anything else like convenience pack and sensor pack? Good luck for Monday.

You had a long wait too, my dealer is part of a group and all the dealers ordered their demonstrators as soon as were able and it was the White cars that took the longest to arrive after red then black. Good job you are getting it Monday. Those 6R GTI's are all arriving now

Climate control
Convenience Pack
DAB
RCD510
Sensor Pack
Winter Pack
Xenons

As you can see the only thing that i didnt order was the multifunction wheel, Mainly beacuse the picture on the VW configurator shows a standard multifunction wheel. So i thought wrongly that if i ordered that it would loose the sports wheel. Any way you live and learn. But i think i got enough extras anyway lol

My car was built first week of December and i was originally told that i would get the car at the end of the month, but i really wanted the car to be registered in 2011 so it goes down as a slightly newer car. So luck was with me because of the delays the snow caused.

My dealer ordered his demo in June as well but VW has still not given them a build date for theirs LOL

Car sounds pretty awesome mate. I saw one of these in white today, was quite surprised as white really suits it! Wasn't expecting it to look so good lol.

Great spec! I think you are the only one so far with Xenons. Yes you live and learn, I was surprised when the MFSW came with controls on both sides as the configurator showed only Radio controls on LHS.

nice car edi,car does look gorgeous in white,i picked up my new polo 11th dec . 1.4 sel 5door with the dsg.love the gear box now i"ve got used to it.it took me 20weeks to get my car but it soon went.i do think vw polo in white do stand out .get some more pics up when you can.
