vw will get their glass from companys such as pilkington anyway bud, who did it? i had my passat done last year by autoglass and to my surprise it was a good job, i suppose it all depends on the fitters skill and if they actually care about there job, hope you sort it easy enough,
if noones posted any pics by the weekend i'll try and remember to grab some of the missus'

yeah i know it will say vw on it from factory but that will be the ones they buy for the production line and their own supply, probably charge a bit more but they are made by proper glass companies, mind you i bet there will be budget screens out there too, keep us posted on what happens, hope they fix it as id be the same as you and not at all pleased with shoddy workmanship

had one fitted by autoglass through the insurance in my last polo last year proper shoddy fitment proper c*** the bloke was found a 3m pad under my windsreeen :/ tried to convince me he knew how to cut and dry ended up scratching my fender and then having to get his insurers to come out and fix my polo !
this time round in my other polo had a windscreen fitted as i punched mine during the snow had like a 10 inch crack the new windscreen looks better than my old one!
so if anyone is near birmingham and wants the company ill found out through my guy ...
danny.
