Fitting hids is just like changing the bulbs cant go wrong really.
What did you do when trying to fit yours?

Basically if you want its much easier to put a hid kit in the headlight if you can take the front bumper off and remove the headlight, That way you can make sure the bulb goes in properly to the headlight and then lock it in place. WIth the 9n its the twist mechanism type and not like normal cars where its a metal clip holding the bulb. More of a pain in the A$$ the design on the polo 9n`s.
Heres my car below when putting the HID kit in

taking the bumper off is the easiest way to do it plus you can find more places to mount the ballasts also
but i opted out HIDs and just fitted high power bulbs (i get flashed a lot because their so bright)

I'm running Osram Cool Blue sidelights and main (dipped) beam headlights at the moment, didn't bother replacing the main-beam bulbs as I dont use it that often. They are noticeably brighter, and give a much crisper, whiter light than the standard bulbs. Whilst not as blue-white, the Halfords Xenon Roadlegal bulbs are what my mates running in his and has never has any probs with them....
Anyway I got my bulbs from
www.powerbulbs.com..... got them the next day, free delivery.
