6n2 - removing fake buttons

im wanting to wire a switch for my sub into one of the fake switches but will need to lift it out in order to solder wires and the like. they are the switches right down at the bottom of the dash.
in the photo below they would be at the base of were the two metal 'legs' can be seen in front of the gear stick.
is there any particular way to get one of these out without breaking it?
