hi, just wondered if anyone had done the wiper converison (from retro wipers to aero wipers)

is it right that all i need is:

1x pair of lupo gti passenger wiperarms
1x pair of lupo gti passenger wiperblades

what about rear?

1x polo 9n rear wiper arm and blade????

help me pleeeease

Just buy the VAG drop in replacements - ne need for Lupo arms

Not sure about the rear mind

6N2 998 002 for the retrofit blades

The lupo arms and blades arent worth the hassle as they foul the scuttle tray, dont wipe the passenger side properly, and hit the top drivers piller lol

as for rear its a Passat Estate (2007ish) rear wiper blade and a 9n arm, however the passat uses the same arm, so just get an arm, cap, and blade from the passat.

Polo 9n3 / Passat Rear Wiper:
Aero wiper arm 6Q6 955 707 A
Small button type cap for the arm: 6Q6 955 435 A
Aero wiper blade 6Q6 955 425 A

Found this post as I'm trying to fit a rear aero wiper to my 6n2.

I've got the following part numbers:


1: Arm - 6Q6 955 707B
2: Cap - 6Q6 955 435D
3: Blade - 6Q6 955 425A -

Had the Arm & Cap from a mk5 Golf....& bought the blade using the part number on this post but the blade itself is 34cm long which is way too long for the Polo 6n2 rear window. I've even moved the clip & it's still too long for the window.

Is that part number correct?

I believe you can also use a scirocco blade.
part number 3c9 955 425 but I'm unsure if it will work with the arm ive got.

I've got the 9n one on mine I just cut the end down and put the cap back on I'll put a pic of it on later if you want hope this helps

3C9 955 425 is the passat blade -thats the part number you should use as thats 280mm. 6Q6 one is too long
