Hi there.

I thought as all the strut sizes are the same in the polo, that 1.2 top mounts would fit on my 1.9?

although I was told by the parts company this isn't the case?

the mounts I have are part number 6N0412249C

can anyone help?

It's possible. I know for a fact that the TDIs have stiffer springs at the front than the 1.2 and 1.4 petrol models. The shock absorbers are the same, but it's possible that the top mounts differ as well.

after some digging, that part number is a top mount bearing!

so the question is, does the bearing fit the sport and standard suspension?
