6n2 Bonnet Bra

I am looking to buy a bonnet bra for my 6n2 polo but I have a debadged grille and I dont want the bonnet bra to have the little indent for the bonnet.
Does anyone know if I can buy one that goes straight across the bonnet? or if a 6n one will fit my 6n2?
Thanks.

Have you filled in the recess in the bonnet or is there now a semi circle gap with your de-badged grille?
Best solution would be just to re-fit the original grille

looks better
What did you go for the slatted debadged or the honeycombe grille?

I have not filled in the recess yet because money has run out due to some very nice coilovers being bought...

It will be filled in when i get money, so that is why i am wanting the bonnet bra.
Na im going for the 'clean' look so all badges are to be removed and the boot smoothed
I got the honeycombe grille because the other ones look a bit out of place imo...
Dont suppose you know if what i want does exist? its driving me slowly insane lol I have majour OCD and this stupid little recess is driving me mental!

I think there will be one available mate, try AutoBras as TrottaGTI suggested.
Failing that you could always buy a standard bonnet bra and have it modified
Where did you get the badgeless honeycombe grille from mate?

It's all good

I emailed autobra and they will sell me what I want in black for no extra cost yay (:
And I bought it off a club polo member but they are for sale at venom motorsports for about £40 I think?

Yesss, thanks you two
I'll get pics up when i put it on. Dont know when that will be as they have to order it in and then send it to me so could be a couple of weeks maybe?
On a unrelated note Trottagti, Im going to lower my car and im worried the exhaust will scrape on everything as its already very low. I am thinking about cutting a hole in the rear bumper and moving the back box up as i think there is about 3 inches of space for it to go up. This seem like a sound idea? or should i just leave it be?
Lol

I would leave it be and possibly replace the entire exhaust with a much smaller back box.
I have the exact same problem at the moment and rather than cut a big horrible recess in the bumper I think its better just to go for a smaller backbox with a hidden tail pipe.
Dont get me wrong Twin Pipes look awesome but if you want a really low car as well then it simply isnt practical.
Craig (TrottaGTI) had the exact same problem so he changed his for a hidden tail pipe too, allowing you to wind down the coilovers even further

Hmm thought that might be the case,
Yeah I know he did that as I bought this exhaust off of him

it's soo annoying though as inreally like how it looks and sounds but it does already scrape on speed bumps when people are in te back... I might have to look into a different/custom back boxes, how much do you think it'll cost?

Powerflow systems are about £250 for a standard Cat-Back set up which is all you really need.
That's £250 fitted too so not bad at all really, plus you can sell your existing one for £150ish?
Its certainly worth doing and its exactly what i'm doing next

That does sound like the best thing to do :'(
I literally have no money atm so I'll have to do that in the summer when I start my new job, but yeah I don't want to cut a hole in the bumper...
Just have to hope I don't destroy this exhaust before then I suppose!

How low is your car mate?
Might be an idea to crank it up a few notches if its sitting on Coilovers, or just avoid using roads/places with speed bumps.
Mine sits about the same height as yours but I always try to plan ahead, obviously you cant avoid knocking it every now & again but you dont want to do too much damage.

Oh dear... I'm not on coilovers yet, although I have just ordered some lol I'm not wanting to go super low, just to lose the arch gap, but the exhaust may be a problem... So I'll have to save up as much as I can to get a custom hidden one.
