Anybody know how easy it is to fit a scirocco wheel ?

I am looking at maybe getting a new scirocco steering wheel like the one below:

Does anybody know if this will be a direct replacement or not please.
I read somewhere that the ABS ring may need changing to a MK4 golf one but it means nothing to me.
Any help would be appreciated.

It wont fit im afraid
The spline on the steering wheel is a different size on the golfs to what the polo is from the mk4 onwards

Not being one to listen, I bought one anyway and it fits fine

Interesting indeed. Did the airbag plug in ok?
They mustve changed the spline size again then!

The airbag involved making a new loom up as the plug was different, found some really good instructions on the mk4 golf forum
Pictures of wheel fitted are just about to be added to my WIP thread

Hi can you post the link for the loom, i am very tempted to do it soon, did you try fitting multifunction buttons? thanks x
