I've never had a BMC so can't compare but since Craig (trottagti) pursueded me to go for the K&N Typhoon I've never looked back! Definitely looks alot better in the bay ;-)
More expensive but I think it's worth it :-)

Best place to get a BMC CDA is from Kam Racing mate :) They are expensive new but worth their weight in gold for the noise they make

Typhoon would be another option but they are another £100+ more than the BMC

Right, this weekend there is going to be some progress, calipers are getting painted and the bbs' are going on. Also bought a few bits & pieces from awsomegti.com to finish it off. Hopefully there will be pics tomorro of a summer ready polo.

Glad to see the cars still alive dude.

Wheels look great,i had my 15's painted lastyear and they've been great throughout the winter and a simple wash keeps them looking tidy alot better to maintain.I went for a slight contrast in silvers on the centres and outers.

Looking foward to the updates.

Spent all day and finally finished. callipers painted, New wheels & conti tyres on, plate surrounds on, throttle body cleaned, k&n panel filter installed, engine cover cleaned.

The 16'' wheels suit the car loads more , really happy

Will get a wash and full works tomorro and take some pics. Red bbs centre caps are starting to grow on me, I also have black bbs, Vw and Wolfsburg centre caps so still havn't decided what to use. Sounds lovely now too, with k&n panel filter and new exhaust. Loud enough for now.

Thanks for all positive comments, I've piled loads of money into the car (mainly fixing broken bits), everyone else thinks i'm mad. :-P !! They just don't understand its a polo gti thing.

After yesterday's quick wash inbetween football matches:oops:

Also a crappy pic of my polo with my mates gti which I made them buy:D but it has had everything go wrong with it including the gearbox immediately after purchase oops:eek: but all sorted now.

I will get some good pictures with it another day

Re: My black gti - indicator clicking problem

Post by funlovincriminal »

This is a niggle which is driving me mad, the indicator clicking noise is going off randomly when I go near steering wheel or stalks. Indicators work fine though! Anyone else had this random problem? I will be inspecting it further tomorrow........
