Hey people,new to the site so thought id say hello.im Daz and live in north wales.Ive recently bought a polo gti and love it allready.i owned a mk2 golf gti 16v before this but wanted something abit more modern.The cars covered 113k and is pretty much standard apart from a set of fk konigsport coilovers and staggered compomotive th monos 15x7 upfront and 15x8 on the back finished in satin black
heres some pics anyway
When i got it one of the exhaust mounts had snapped so had that repaired today
Also had a go at carbon wrapping a rear vw badge,think its come out pretty good for a 1st attempt lol havent fitted it yet but heres a pic of it for now
Thats about it for now

Im from Ewloe near Queensferry so not far from you.Was up in Denbigh the other day at that new skatepark lol

No worries mate, I never go on VAG Wales myself but they have a lot of meets in North Wales (mainly St.Asaph)
Look forward to seeing how your GTI progresses. This forum is really helpful so you shouldnt have any problems finding out information about parts etc. Its much better than Club Polo

Thanks for the warm welcome and nice comments
Fitted the badge i wrapped before,think it looks alot better and fits the red and black theme better than the chrome one
Also ive purchased some oil,oil filter and sump plug and washer so will be changing them on saturday, and ive also got some meguiars ultimate compound and tech wax so will be giving the car a good clean and seal weather permitting lol

I was gona do that trimming in carbon idea looks good I may go for it...
