Headlight auto levelling

Hi, after fitting my new coilovers, I have a feeling my headlight auto-level system is playing up. Should the headlights move up and down quite noticeably like this:

If that's the case, my car certainly isn't doing that. Has the load sensor in the rear given up or has the adjuster motor packed up in both headlights? Would a VAGCOM pick up these faults?

This was only asked a few weeks back...
No, the xenon system on these cars does not self check the levelling on startup.

So how does it work then alex? i was quite curious that mine didnt self adjust on startup, is it supposed to auto level when theres more weight in the car?

Dont try adjusting them with vagcom, took me ages to get them to go back to the original place.

VAG COM is only to set them into their home position so they will auto level properly after being manually levelled

I foolishly messed with the adaption settings and they sky rocketed into the air, took me a few days of googling to get them back down
